About Moi

I was born in June 1981, I'm a hearing impaired paper-crafter who loves all things crafty. I sew, although I'm still very much a novice at sewing. I bake and cook hopefully all kinds of delicious treats. I have a huge passion for photography and the camera {yes I'm old school I still use an actual camera} is never far from me. I also love creative writing from making up sentiments/verses for my cards and other paper-craft projects to penning some fiction. I am an avid reader and I may even throw in some book reviews on here too!

Carnival Freak Show

I am one hundred percent in love with these stamps and have more ideas than I know what to do with them.  My first project is a box stage for a carnival freak show.

Products used:

Liquid Pearls
Smeared Ink Carnival Stamps
Memento ink
Red and orange acrylic paint
Postal box
Black and White card
Cake pop sticks

I have stamped the whole sheet of stamps and coloured them.  I fussy cut them before adhering a cake pop stick to the back. The stage is hand painted in wood style.  I used a sharpie pen to draw the stitches of the tent on the box lid after apinting it.  I used liquid pearls and gems as lights and to illuminate the title of the show.  The floor of the stage is superglued to the bottom of the box.

Here are some photos of the piece which will be sent to a very special angel.

A recent trip to the seaside proved great fun with some paddling, crazy golf and of course the photography.  Some of these photos need editing though.

One Stitch at a Time ~ Four legged friends

The challenge over at:  http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/  this fortnight is four legged friends.  At the moment I have a thing about bookmarks so I have created a book mark for this challenge.  I have used a mix of inktense pencils and promarkers for the colouring.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
