Hi Everyone, gosh unfortunately for you all I'm back again! This week we are looking at the remaining elements of wind fire and water. All the magnets have been made using distress inks, dies and embossing folders. Fire  Fire was made using a combination of red and orange distress inks.  I coloured the Norse Fire God wtih promarkers in yellow red orange and skin tones. I placed the image behind some flames that were die cut {peacock feather spellbinders die} from photo paper and coloured using distress inks in the same colour as the background. I added an Edgar Allen Poe quote about fire too, it reads:  Each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor. Water Water has been a huge part of my life forever, water is my natural habitat it's where I relax, where I feel complete.  So there was only ever one option for water...a mermaid.  I've coloured the image using promarkers and added some glitter.  I used a circle embos...

This time I'm posting a week early to reveal a VERY special image.  As many of you know the synapses in my brain short circuit and I come up with the strangest things.  When I saw the earth wind fire and water theme I knew there was only one thing I could do and that would be to go down the element route, I chose the Norse Gods of Wind and Fire, a mythical Mermaid for water and my favourite which coincidentally happens to also be the very special image...The Green Man or some of you may know him as Jack in the Green. This post will give you a sneak peak of Water, Fire and Wind but is predominately about Earth. I've chosen to make a set of oversized fridge magnets. Earth had it's background coloured using distress inks, and stamps to make a green leafy and earthy background. This fortnight we are being prompted by our favourite song lyrics over at  Ikes World Challenges , I'm not sure how popular this song is but if your a Greys Anatomy and or McDreamy or my personal favourite McSteamy fan you are likely to have seen the musical episode of Greys where Calliope/Callie Torres has an out of body experience after a car crash.  She tours the hospital and crash scene singing various songs.  One of the songs Sara {the actress who plays Callie} sang was called The Story.  This is what I chose to base my card on.  Here are the lyrics.
