Good Morning. This weeks theme is Winter Warming and what's more warming than a mug of hot chocolate and a gingerbread biscuit?  I've used the mug from  Ikes Art  and the gingerbread biscuits from  Hobby Art .  I've made my own background paper using the gingerbread stamps and they have all been coloured with a mix of H2O's by Luminart and Derwent Pro Colour Pencils. The quote is my own and I've embellished the card using glitter and nuvo drops.

I know I'm not exactly what everyone expects. I'm not a town person but I don't look like a country person either.  I'm so comfortable and confident in a dress but at the same time I love being in the country so often pair that with steel cap boots, fluffy socks and well generally anything that makes being outside in the cold, wet and mud easier.  So here I am at Wellington Monument enjoying the peace.

I needed these thank you cards in record time so I reached for my trusted Ike's Art Images.  They are such high quality and great to colour.  The cards are basic and simple easel cards though.

So here's another of my weekly Chirstmas Card challenge cards.  The theme this week is the movie ELF.  I wasn't sure at first how to do this but then I was browsing Ike's images and discovered the pixie image.  She can be found at  Ikes Art Store .  I decided that I was going to base the card around Jovi the lady Buddy met at the department store.  I've used green glitter card because Buddy's elf suit is green.  I remembered his love for sugar so stamped my own background paper using Hobby Art Gingerbread stamps and they can be found in the  Hobby Art store .  I added nuvo drops in pearl white to the base of the easel to represent snowballs from the incredible snowball fight scene after Buddy meets his brother from school.  I know in the film Jovi has blond hair but when perusing my pro colours I found this gorgeous autumn leaf pencil and couldn't resist using it on her hair.  I've coloured the backing paper using H20's from luminar...

It's a male theme over at  Ike's Art Challenges  or you can go with anything goes.  Ike always gives a freebie but you can use any images. I've used the Germany bundle which can be found in the  Ike's Art Store .

I couldn't resist scrapbooking some of these photos.  I just happened to be at the beach {Axmouth and Seaton} at the right time.  I seem to like a simple style of scrapbooking with this page but to be honest the photos say all that needs to be said for me.  I've die cut the letters for the title and the waves as embellishments.

Against the odds I have somehow managed to get a second Christmas card done and I have to say it feels marvelous. The theme this week is Dogs at Christmas: This one is heavily dependent on the image.  Ike did a superb job in putting a gorgeous puppy in the library chair with some holly and a santa hat and I just know the person whose going to receive this card will love it, she has multiple dogs and loves books so in theory it's perfect.  You can find this and all of Ike's images at  Ikes Art .

I love a good autumn walk at Wellington Monument.  If the weather has been right you can see some really good fungi.  The National Trust is starting to reclaim it...they have got scaffolding up to repair a crack in the monument and I'm thrilled to see a parking meter in the car park.  The only thing is I just wish they could do something about dog owners who don't clean up.
