Okay so I admit I'm rambling a lot in the title but I don't really know how to explain it {nothing new there then}.  For this challenge {I'm very happy to finally feeling fit enough to try some crafting} I have coloured using promarkers Ike's image and cut it out.  I stuck it onto a floral paper so it looks as though there is something in the basket.  I then stuck a strip of white card on the back so it will "spring" up and down. I then cut that tight so there wasn't a border.  I heat embossed a square in green and then cut my own grass blades from it.  Before I backed my card, I cut a small hole in the paper and popped the image in it.  When gluing the paper to the card I missed out the bit under the slidey thing for the springing image. Once the image was in place I stuck the grass blades on using the heat gun and only gluing the very bottom of the blades.  I die cut two leaves and hand wrote in green "Spring has Sprung"...I wanted them...

I love this image, it's from Ike's World and it's very 'me' however I feel I could have chosen better colours...but I had some new promarkers I wanted to play with.  I'd like to apologise now that my colouring is not up to scratch I just hope I've hidden it hehe!  I'd also like to say thank you for the opportunity to play with a gorgeous image and for the 'entertainment' value it provided whilst I'm unwell.  I confess to having to get Nan to die cut the frame thingies for me I just couldn't turn the big shot handle and breath. Anyway here is the card at last!  I've used Docrafts Art deco papers, Ranger distress inks in Bundled Sage and Peacock Feathers.  Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder in arctic bay luster and a do craft ribbon tape thing.  I goggled and checked the author of the quote and printed it myself for matching font colours {yes I am a little obsessed}, gemstones in light green and shades of green erm tea green, pas...

I totally adore this image and really enjoyed spending several hours colouring it.  I wanted to make the card simple because the image is so wonderful and amazing I didn't want the card to detract from it.  So here it is my odd card with an amazing wonderful image I am so lucky to have been able to have used. This card with the extra special image {have I mentioned that already lol} is hopefully suitable for the  Ike's world challenge . The image is the freebie image on the challenge from IKE's ART

For this card I used a witch and what should be a robin although i know my colouring is off. I die cut snowflakes from a sparkly vellum and hand drew/cut the icicles then glittered them. I hope it fits ok with the challenge. Both of the images are from IKE's ART and the challenge I am entering is the IKE's WORLD Challenges .

This was made for the Delicious Doodles challenge, I couldn't decide between Dirty Dancing and Enchanted, i suspect this is more Enchanted than Dirty Dancing though.

An LO made for the  Delicious Doodles no designer paper challenge.  The photos were taken over the summer of 2013.  I've used sunset colours for the ribbon and distress inks and clear embossing powder to enhance the pattern on my tag. I finished the page with some tiny sparkle gems which I glued on in a hand drawn {with glue} swirls. 

Yes I've been art journaling again in fact I've become quite addicted to it. This time I've aged the paper using old paper distress ink, then used either cocoa brown memento or archival sepia inks to stamp the backgrounds.  Because I wanted dimension to these pages I have decoupaged some of the background and added a couple squares of paper. I'm not really sure this fits the  MMM  requirements as it is a background but I'm not sure a background to journaling is the same as a background to a card, either way I enjoyed it and I hope anyone who reads this finds the MMM blog via the link above and supports them.
