Smeared and Smudged Facebook Challenge
I totally freaked at this challenge, use pink! URGH my nightmare! okay so there were easy to use colours too such as yellow, green and blue.
However I slowly came around to the idea. For this art journal page I slapped a mix of blue acrylic paint and glitter varnish on the PINK cardstock with a palette knife {don't panic I have three others for the kitchen so this one won't be making it's way back there}!
Then I used pine green distress ink for the top of the greeny blue ocean and realised i'd got some on the paint and how much I liked it so I carried on and distress inked the paint. Then I used Spiced marmalade distress stain as my yellow and PINK sky!
I've added handmade embellishments...I used liquid pearls in silicon moulds to make marine life embellishments.
My stamping is the quote glance deep into the abyss and the mermaid whose upside down glancing into the abyss.
My journalling reads:

It doesn't matter if you look into the ocean abyss or the abyss of your mind, heart and soul you will always learn something.
