Sall the Crafty Baker

I just couldn't resist this bee stamp set from  Hobby Art , I especially love the old fashioned skep style hive.  I've made a card using the sentiment in the set and just love how it's come out.  I have a feeling I'll be using these a lot.  I've made a basic easel card with honeycombe embossing folders on gold card.

I had a requirement for a lot of thank you cards and it coincided with a purchase of stamps from my favourite physical stamp store  Hobby Art .  I also bought some metallic and pearlescent brushos so couldn't resist using them too.  I love this bunch of sweetpeas and enjoyed colouring them with derwent inktense pencils.

I think I've found a new obsession...Snails are amazing they have such amazing shells and I appear to be hooked on photographing them.  Don't worry though there are green shield beetles, planes and birds in here too.

Over at  Ikes World Challenges  the theme this month is Hats.  The challenge is open to everyone and if you prefer you can dip your toes in with anything goes. Ike always does a stunning a freebie and of course you can purchase her images at  Ikes Art . I appear to have used every hat image going but I LOVED making this hat shop.  I wanted to make some 3d hats too but quite honestly there just isn't room the shop has far too much stock.

Welcome to a new Challenge at  International Art and Soul  this fortnight is an easy one to get you started.  This one is Flowers and I have made a scrapbook page {double} of flowers from Killerton.  One of my favourite National Trust Properties.

I rescued this grasshopper from my kitchen, I was sweeping up and thought it looked odd against dust/crumbs and took a closer look. I then realised it was a grasshopper and he/she ought to be back outside so that's where it went...back outdoors.

I have been busy making thank you cards a little late so I feel rather guilty but I am trying so hard to get them done. This one was made using mixed media.
