I love these sunflower stamps from  Hobby Art  they are simply stunning and gorgeous.  I was gifted a wood effect embossing folder for my birthday and love using it with these stamps.

This is a quick hello card for a friend.  The image has been coloured so it is similar to her horse.  I just hope it made her smile.  The image is a donkey from  Ike's Art

Gosh here I am blogging again...this time it's a "dark" art journal page.  I love doing these I just sit and play and see what happens.  There's something natural about dark craft that appears to my soul begging for freedom.  I lost track of time and it was only several hours later I emerged ravenous and realising Nan had slept for far too long...tonight I fear could be bad! I've used images from  Ikes Art  to create this page about the beauty of death.  I was really excited when I discovered it was to be a "dark" image over at Ike's Facebook Group challenge this month, I just don't see the "darker" images and creations around much. To make this I've used a background of distress crayons, the tree is made using novou mousse, the leaves are brushos, the mushrooms are stamped as are the bugs from various Hobby Art  stamp sets.  The quote is one I thought of suddenly at the end of the project and is written by me.  It reads: ...

There was no adventure last week due to appointments and weather.  I'm very obsessed about keeping this camera dry!  So I thought I would share with you two new stash items I've bought, just to make it clear I have saved and purchased these items so my opinion is just that...an opinion.  The first is the Tim Holtz precision press.  WOW I mean I thought I was okay with stamping but this thing is just incredible.  There are two things I really love about it. How large stamps can be restamped until I get a full impression with no blurring or smudging. I can layer my stamps, it's so much easier without sticking notelet paper leaving traces of glue etc, I just use regular paper and the magnet. For me there is one downside, it's sold with only 2 magnets and as the base is shiny flat {necessary for stamping} some types of lower weight card/paper will slip about a bit. It's all about Edgar Allen Poe at  Ike's World Challenges  and I love a reason to use these images.  I've made a set of bookmarks for a gift.

International Art & Soul  has a theme of Orange and Black which has had me puzzling for a while then this came to me. I have used Docrafts Art Deco images to make a simple "hello" card.  I have written the insert greeting myself.

These were taken on Tuesday but because there was no adventure last week due to the weather and my obsessive need to protect the camera {it doesn't like the rain} I am sharing some random hot air balloon, sunset and ladybird photos with you today.
