Carnival Freak Show

I am one hundred percent in love with these stamps and have more ideas than I know what to do with them.  My first project is a box stage for a carnival freak show.

Cake pop sticks

I have stamped the whole sheet of stamps and coloured them.  I fussy cut them before adhering a cake pop stick to the back. The stage is hand painted in wood style.  I used a sharpie pen to draw the stitches of the tent on the box lid after apinting it.  I used liquid pearls and gems as lights and to illuminate the title of the show.  The floor of the stage is superglued to the bottom of the box.

One Stitch At A Time {OSAAT} Challenge 236 Anything Goes Special Lady

This is my first post for One Stitch At  A Time {I’m am so honoured to be allowed to cover for Nataliya whilst she takes a holiday} and I wanted it to say something about me as well as the theme for the challenge. The theme this fortnight as One Stitch at a time  is anything goes with special lady.  Now I have a few of those in my life, however recently one person has shown me just what a special lady they are through helping me when things got tough.  I send her happy mail a lot and she gets a special birthday card but when it comes to Christmas…the sheer number of cards to be made and sent at the same time means she generally gets a boring handmade card.  I saw the OSAAT challenge theme as a good way to show her how special I think she is at Christmas. The beauty of death

Gosh here I am blogging again...this time it's a "dark" art journal page.  I love doing these I just sit and play and see what happens.  There's something natural about dark craft that appears to my soul begging for freedom.  I lost track of time and it was only several hours later I emerged ravenous and realising Nan had slept for far too long...tonight I fear could be bad! I've used images from  Ikes Art  to create this page about the beauty of death.  I was really excited when I discovered it was to be a "dark" image over at Ike's Facebook Group challenge this month, I just don't see the "darker" images and creations around much.
