It is 3D fortnight at:One Stitch at a time and I've chosen to use a template from Cut and Craft to make a book of gardens.
I really loved this project it gave me the opportunity to add lots of details and most of all combine my two favourite hobbies, books and craft.
I am entering the book of gardens into the following challenges;

http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
http://crafting-with-friends.blogspot.co.uk/
http://jwscrapshack.blogspot.co.uk/
http://pdelinkyparty.blogspot.co.uk/

I have also made myself a little box of books. I saw online an idea of a jar containing slips of paper with all the books in your "too read" pile written on. It's supposed to aid you in decided what to read next. I'm always all of a dither on what to read next so jumped at this idea. However, I wanted to decorate the jar then I had the idea of just making a simple small box, decorated using distress inks and hand drawn using a quickie glue pen then heat embossed books. I made tiny books on to write my too read books on and popped them in the box. Typically since making this I haven't finsihed a book to chose a new one!
