Deep in the Abyss

I have a passion for the oceans and Marine life, I love how creatures have spectacular colour and the differences in anatomy.  So for this challenge at Ikes World Challenges I have created a tin of the ocean depths {Coral Reef and Arctic Depths} and some icy land coverage in the Arctic.  I choose marine life that lives in both areas and the starfish straddles both because I once saw a Sir David Attenborough program in which the starfish froze and survived the cold.  I should warn there are a LOT of photos for this one!  I have covered the acetate for the frozen ice with crackle glaze, I purposely left it clear so you can see through into the depths of the abyss.  I cut a slice into the acetate for the Narwhal to come through as it surfaces for air.
