Over at  Ikes world challenges  it is going in circles fortnight.  I'm not very good at thinking normally whether that's in circles or not.  However, this time I went a little strange and decided the circles I was going in would be whilst trying to knock a golf ball in one of those tiny holes on the crazy golf course so here's a scrap page from me and be sure to hop over and check out the challenge:

It is 3D fortnight at: One Stitch at a time  and I've chosen to use a template from   Cut and Craft  to make a book of gardens. I really loved this project it gave me the opportunity to add lots of details and most of all combine my two favourite hobbies, books and craft. It is "love actually" fortnight at  Ike's World Challenges  and by coincidence a very good friend of mine was getting married at the end of January.  I wanted to make her a special card and of course, where else would I look than the fabulous images at Ike's store?  They are both unique and gorgeous giving the perfect image for what I was looking for.  I got so thrilled with the card and getting it sent in time I forgot to write in it so Rachel this is for you! Rach you have been an amazing friend to me over the years and I'm so thrilled to be around to witness your next journey in life, you've shone beautifully through your romance with David and I know marrying him will only make you a brighter star.  I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world that you deserve and far more besides.  I truly hope your day was a magical one. It is Love is in the air week at  One stitch at a time  I have chosen my love of long winter nights curled up in a warm glow of light with a good book on a heart shaped card using one of the bookatrix style score boards. It's Groundhog day or weather at  http://ikesworldchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/  I don't really know what groundhog day is but as weather is mentioned I'm guessing it is the same as our St Swithens day that dictates the weather?  Anyway regardless of the meaning I went with weather and decided it was time I did some art journalling. I choose Ike's Wind fairy and created my own background using dies and airbrushing with promarkers.

Welcome to my second post of 2016, don't panic I won't count them all, I am thrilled with this particular post as it allowed me to do some much craved art journalling.  It's "new beginnings" over at  Ikes World Challenges  and I decided that I would use the beginning of the year as my theme. I never do resolutions as I know I wouldn't keep them and fail to see why they are set at the beginning of the year when you can make an active decision to change a part of your life at any point in the year because it's not the timing that's important but the decision that you are ready and willing to try and make this change work.  So because I'm so anti resolutions I did wonder what I hoped for in 2016 and for me it was to continue something I began in late 2015, around autumn time I decided I wanted to be ME.  Yes that simple I just wanted to be me, to let the real me show and to forget or not even listen to what others thought about that.
