Sall the Crafty Baker

Well this is a change I don't normally share cooking/baking these days, I love it but tend to bore people with it so try not to mention it.  Anyway I found this cherry pie bar recipe on the Tesco website a long time ago and finally decided to give them a try.  I switched some ingredients to make them dairy friendly but the goats milk yoghurt worked just as well as a greek yoghurt I think.

This image is from Ike's Art Facebook group.  It is also the freebie over at this months challenge.  I should be working on Birthday cards but I am not a card maker not really and I'm struggling because there is so little appreciation for a card.  In order to persuade myself to get on with them I treated myself to an Art Journal page at the end of two cards.  I loved making this, it was just so easy and natural. I have used Hunkydory cardstock for the patchwork background and a dylusions paint pen for the stitching detail.  I coloured the main image with derwent pencils and my quote reads:  Snuggled in a blanket books bring innumerable riches ⓒSallie Baker 2019

I'm back to walking, short local walks to start with and build up slowly to longer and more vigerous walks.  My back is still niggly but I am feeling better with exercise. These were taken on a short walk in Kentisbeare I say short it should only take five minutes if I'm not taking photos.  It was a foggy morning and I love how these photos came out, in fact I'm rather proud of how they came out given the tricky conditions and the fact I am very much a novice.
