It is use more than one image over at Ikes World Challenges and she has lots of images to chose from, too many if I'm honest as I'd love to use them all in one go.  There are some fabulous new/recent images that have been really inspiring so do pop over and have a look.

I've chosen to use the fish from the zombie pet shop collection and Ben on a raft.  Both these say a lot about me, the zombie fish because all fish will die in preference over having to come near me, what can I say I love fish and become a cat pawing at the tank mesmerised by them.  The raft is because I love messing about with water and in this instance it represents the barges on the canal.  I recently took a friend to the canal for lunch on an "adventure" and as I am making a scrapbook for her I thought these photos and images suited this double scrapbook layout perfectly.

Christmas in June feels late to me, I normally start prepping for Christmas around New Year’s Eve!   When I first saw this image the first thing I thought of was to print it as large as possible and decorate it as a cone angel I used to make as a child.   Then I calmed down and thought about it and decided to go with a scrap page…the only minor problem is I can’t seem to stop singing Angels from the realms of glory now!   Okay I’ll stop waffling now but I have some questions later if You would be so kind as to point me in the right direction please?  This is to be entered in to Ike's Challenge To make this page I used: Gold Glitter Iridescent Gold H2Os Gold H2O’s Silver and gold mirri card Christmas cuttlebug embossing folder Mini tiny mini beads Ribbon I printed cut to size and glued together in the weird shape my Christmas angel and tree photos, then matted them on silver mirri card.   I used the cuttlebu...

This is my first post for One Stitch At  A Time {I’m am so honoured to be allowed to cover for Nataliya whilst she takes a holiday} and I wanted it to say something about me as well as the theme for the challenge. The theme this fortnight as One Stitch at a time  is anything goes with special lady.  Now I have a few of those in my life, however recently one person has shown me just what a special lady they are through helping me when things got tough.  I send her happy mail a lot and she gets a special birthday card but when it comes to Christmas…the sheer number of cards to be made and sent at the same time means she generally gets a boring handmade card.  I saw the OSAAT challenge theme as a good way to show her how special I think she is at Christmas. I’ve chosen to use the pilbury snoboy image because the snowman is baking and I love to bake and share cakes {because I’m not that fussed about eating cakes}.  It also shows how I’d love to bake fo...

Firstly I'd like to point out that no Jam, Quiche or Bread burnt during the making of these projects...should evidence be required there will be a pic of the Jam and bread gift set on my facebook page The Crafty Baker .  Secondly I want to thank Ike for the amazing images, I have a minor oh okay a MAJOR addiction to these...THANK YOU! Anyway I have created three projects {all of them quick} with some of these wonderful images. My first project is a tag....okay an oversize tag.  I've used distress ink for the background and written with promarker {note for next time find a different pen the nibs too thick for my handwriting} "If I look dead will she leave me alone?".  My plan is to send this to a very good friend of mine who has to 'control' me when around fish.  The first time I went to her place I went and sat on the floor by her fish tank and tapped the glass talking to them.  Anyway I printed and coloured the fish bowl and the fish using promarkers, ...
